This esoteric interpretation of the New Testament presents the devotional side of the Christian faith. The life and ministry of Jesus, the Lord's Prayer, the Beatitudes, the Sermon on the Mount, and the sacred mysteries of the Essenes are explored.

Originally printed in 1951, this book was intended to be a "part 2" of Understanding Your Bible. It now stands alone as a focused and fair examination of the life and teachings of the figure we know as "Christ".

"There are many names given to the divine love which sustains those who have dedicated themselves to the way of heaven. But named or nameless, love perfects all the outer works of man, illumining them and giving them an authority which comes from the spirit." p. 248

Manly Hall dedicated his 1927 seminal work The Secret Teachings of All Ages to "the Rational Soul of the World".  Readers of this title will learn who exactly the Rational Soul truly was.
