Dr. Stephan A. Hoeller recapitualtes the discovery of Nag Hammadi and the subsequent discovery of the Jung Codex—the Evangelium Veritatis (The Gospel of Truth)—and its implications for esoteric Christianity.
Dr. Hoeller quotes Carl G. Jung as saying:
"The Gospel of Truth is a poetic and philosophical work of Christian mysticism, however, with powerful gnostic overtones. Should it occur to anyone who question the compatibility of mysticical Christianity and gnosticism, this scripture might convince such a person otherwise."
