Stephan Hoeller's handbook for heightening consciousness is unrivalled for its clarity in explaining the ancient mystical Kabbalah in relation to the Tarot's Major Arcana. On the new enclosed CD, Dr. Hoeller narrates twenty-two meditations to guide the reader easily into a contemplative state.

This book is a unique introduction to the primordial stages of spiritual development and reflects a Theosophical vision of the Tarot that leads to the Higher Self through inner illumination, embodied commitment, and responsible living. It offers profound insights into the complexity of the Kabbalah and the Tarot in accessible and lucid writing, a rare accomplishment in a field know for its density and difficulty. Highly recommended!
—Lee Irwin, Ph.D., Director of Religious Studies, College of Charleston
