A.P. Sinnett

Alfred Percy Sinnett (1840-1921), was an English born journalist, author, and Theosophist. In 1879, Sinnett moved to India where he was the Editor of The Pioneer, the leading English Daily of India. By 1880 he had established close relationships with Helena Blavatsky and Henry Steel Olcott- the founders of the Theosophical Society in 1875. His later contribution to the publication of the Mahatma Letters would later lead to a split of the society.
