Refund policy

30-Day Returns or Exchange
Items must be returned in the exact same condition and packaging as sold. Customers are responsible for paying return-shipping unless our error. Any original shipping fees paid, discount items, gift-cards, and fellowship-funds are non-refundable. All returns must follow return-instructions below.

Start a Return
To start a return, please contact us at Returns@Self-Initiated.com, and we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your return-package.

Once we receive the returned item(s) and they meet the requirements, we will notify you via email and you will be be issued a full refund for the cost of the item(s) and taxes paid. The cost of original shipping paid is non-refundable. Only if we deem your return was due to our error will you receive a refund for the original shipping paid.

Please remember once the refund has been approved, the refund will be automatically credited to your original method of payment within 3-6 business days. Additionally, it can take some extra time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Damages, Defects, and Wrong Items
You have 14-days upon reception of your order to report any damages or defects so we can promptly evaluate the issue and make it right.

For any wrong items received we will provide you with a free return-shipping label via email, and we will you instruct on how and where to drop off the return-package.

Returns Not in Original Condition
If the item(s) when returned to us are not in the original condition, and exhibit signs or indications of being read, worn, or even minimally used, you will not receive any refund, despite a valid claim to any original defect that may remain present. Such leisure usage of the defective or wrong product(s) dishonours our return policy and disqualifies your item(s) for refund, replacement, or exchange.

Pre-Orders
These can be cancelled but we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee to be deducted from your refund. As long as we have not already procured your order, this fee will be waived.

Do not "Return to Sender"
These packages are not tracked for proof of delivery and not insured for loss. We use multiple carriers in order to offer the best prices, and the return-address on the package only refers to the final-mile carrier warehouse- this is not our returns address. Packages sent in this manner will simply be disposed of by the final-mile carrier and you will not receive any refund.

In Case of Fees Due Upon Delivery
For all U.S. and international DDP packages you should not have been charged any additional fees to take reception of your package. However, in the unlikely even you are charged delivery fees or duties, please pay the fees and keep a record of your payment and contact us. We will compensate you for duties or delivery fees that resulted from our error, but we will not compensate for any "double duties" applied by your native custom authorities if we have already paid them, and we will not compensate for additional delivery attempts. In the former case we can provide you with the duty documents required by your customs authorities for reimbursement.

DO NOT REFUSE PACKAGES
In the unprecedented event that you are required to pay additional fees to take possession of a package and refuse, U.S. and Canadian bound packages may be returned to us at our expense, or the carrier may simply dispose of it without notice to either party. For all other international destinations, packages refused will automatically be disposed by our international carrier and you will not receive any refund. For domestic packages from the U.S. or Canada that are returned to us in this manner, refunds may be subject to having the return shipping costs deducted from any refund.
